WHAT OUR BUYERS SAY

F. Herman

Eileen was wonderful to work with on both the sell and purchase of our homes. We wanted to purchase a new home while also simultaneously selling our old home and we were very worried about having a contingent offer with purchasing. However, Eileen not only sold our home in less than a week, but she also got us two offers over asking as well, which worked out beautifully for us. She knew exactly how we needed to market our home and prepare it for listing and I believe that know-how is what made our home stand out to buyers. During her representation on the purchase of our new home she worked tirelessly with the builder to make sure that our new house was free of any defects including recommending that we get a full home inspection before closing, even though it was new construction. Thankfully because of this advice we were able to catch a massive leak in the primary bathroom shower due to the builders plumber improperly installing it. The plumber was willing to completely redo the entire shower because we were able to show our home inspection report noting the issue after our builder told us it wasn’t a problem and they were only going to add some calk (which would have created a massive mold problem later since water had already started building up behind the wall). Thanks to her and her home inspector, we absolutely lucked out, forcing our builder to address our concerns and take more action to fix the leak entirely instead of slapping a bandaid on it. Eileen is truly the only Realtor we will ever use to buy or sell real estate because we trust that she will have our absolute best interests in mind and that she will work hard to ensure you get the outcome you want, all while being transparent and honest (which is so hard to find in a agent these days). We can’t recommend her enough!

Mary is amazing! Mary was super helpful in getting us our house! We had absolutely no idea what we were doing and she handled all the background paperwork and communication. Whenever we found a house we were interested in, Mary was immediately on it to schedule a viewing, etc.. She made things so easy for us and was always available (still is) to answer any questions or concerns we had and continue to have.

BUYING A HOME IN UTAH: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

To help you make informed decisions, we've compiled answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.

How do I start the home-buying process in Utah?

A successful home purchase starts with understanding your goals, finances, timeline, and where you want to live. One of the best first steps is to connect with UT Real Estate Pros so we can learn what you are looking for and connect you with a local team member who understands the Utah market you are considering.

From there, we can help you coordinate with a trusted lender for financing and preapproval, establish a comfortable purchase range, refine your preferred communities, and create a personalized home-search strategy. When you are ready to tour homes, your UT Real Estate Pros agent can help you evaluate properties, understand local market conditions, and prepare for the offer and contract process.

If you work with a REALTOR® participating in an MLS, you will generally enter into a written buyer agreement before touring homes together. That agreement explains the services your agent will provide and the compensation you have agreed upon, which is negotiable.
